Highline Lake State Park – Loma – This park is a summer sports mecca offering a swim beach, jet skiing, shaded picnic areas and 28 campsites. The lake is stocked with largemouth bass and Mack Mesa Lake is stocked with rainbow trout.
Boyd Lake State Park – Loveland – A family-oriented park with fishing, water sports, swim beach, trails, and nature programs. There are 148 campsites, a 17,00 acre reservoir, showers and electric hookups.
Flatiron Reservoir (Larimer County Park) – Loveland – SEASON: All Year – From town, go 6 miles west on US 34, then 2.5 miles south on CR 29E. Facilities: 50 sites – No hook-ups. Tenting, non-flush toilets, no showers, fire rings. RECREATION: Hiking trails, lake fishing, v-ball. Open to public. Partial handicap access.
Pinewood Lake (Larimer County Park) – Loveland – SEASON: All Year – From Jct. US 34 & 29, go 2 miles south on Hwy 29, then 6.5 miles west on CR 18E. Facilities: 29 sites – No hook-ups. Tenting, non-flush toilets, no showers, public phone, fire rings, grills. RECREATION: Boating, canoeing, lake fishing, hiking trails. Pet restrictions. Partial handicap access.
Mancos Lake State Park – Mancos – Mancos State Park is a quiet, rustic park locate above the Manco Valley. The park offers 34 campsites, two yurts, a 225 acre lake for trout fishing and wakeless boating, and views of the LaPata Mountains.
San Luis Lake State Park – Mancos – Nicest campground close to Great Sand Dunes National Monument. The 51 campsites provide access to showers, electricity and laundry. Enjoy fishing, water sports, trails, and wildlife-viewing.
