If you’re looking to relax and have fun in an upscale, European setting, look no farther than Vail’s sister ski city, Beaver Creek, Colorado. Enjoy over 1,100 acres of gorgeous alpine terrain, walk the heated sidewalks as you window shop and people watch, or eat in some of the most sophisticated world-class restaurants you can find anywhere. The scene is very cultured, and includes a Performing Arts Center, an outdoor ice rink, and even escalators that take you directly to the chairlifts!

Outdoor activities in Beaver Creek abound and the skiing here is a dream, with trails for every level of ability. You can also take a kayak out to Gore Creek, dog sled across the snow-covered range, hop aboard a four-wheeler to discover the old mining roads that weave through the area, or play a round of golf at one of the top-shelf courses that nestle between the mountains. And when you’re done for the day, head over to one of Beaver Creek’s luxurious spas to reward yourself even further for a day filled with enjoyment and exhilaration.
