Arvada - Arvada was founded in 1870 as a farming community. The town’s final link with Denver occurred in 1925 causing the town to celebrate with its first Harvest Festival.
Aspen- Aspen is 220 miles west of Denver, served by a local airport and a good road from Interstate 70 at Glenwood Springs. It is America’s most glamorous ski area and also one of the world’s best for skiing conditions.
Aurora - The city, incorporated in 1891 as the town of Fletcher, was renamed in 1907 as Aurora.
